This video is a project I managed from concept to completion. It served as an update on NCACPA’s efforts related to SB 321, expanding access to CPA licensure. While the script was provided by the participants, I handled all production elements—staging the filming location, setting up lighting, and capturing the raw footage using my iPhone. I then selected the best takes, edited the dialogue, and enhanced the piece with intro and outro slides, supporting graphics and copy, and licensed background music. To emphasize the initiative’s key message, I also created and integrated a custom animation that brought the focus to life.
This video was created to promote an upcoming conference and filmed on location at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville. To give it a more social, approachable feel, we used the cocktail hour of the Business and Industry Fall Conference as the backdrop and skipped a formal script. This allowed the CEO and NCACPA Board Chair to deliver a casual, personal invitation to the upcoming Symposium Conference. I filmed the footage on my iPhone, captured audio with Bluetooth microphones, and then formatted multiple versions of the video optimized for different platforms, including YouTube and social media.
This video was created for student outreach and designed to feel casual and approachable. Instead of working from a formal script, the CEO and I outlined key points beforehand and then captured multiple takes. After each take, we reviewed together to adjust wording, timing, or cadence based on what felt most natural. As with the previous project, I set up the scene and lighting, and recorded the footage using my iPhone paired with a Bluetooth microphone.
This video was created to inspire donations to the NC CPA Foundation. Each participant received a portion of the script, recorded their segment, and shared it with me. I then edited and produced the individual clips into the final video.
This video was created to celebrate a co-worker’s 40th anniversary. Since he’s a big fan of classic TV shows like The Andy Griffith Show and The Waltons, I incorporated one of the theme songs as a fun nod to his favorites. We marked the occasion with the “12 Days of David,” where different staff members shared special memories of their time with him. Team members sent me their footage, which I then edited and wove into a custom video template I designed for the celebration.
